  1. Development Cost Charges Bylaw Update

    A new Development Cost Charge Bylaw Update Report is now available on the City of Revelstoke website at revelstoke.ca.  The Report dated August 15, 2018, explains the current decisions of Council and provides access to the Background Report and Bylaw.  The Background Report, required by the Province, contains the reasoning and calculations necessary to create the Bylaw which is also included at its First reading. The draft Bylaw is expected to change prior to adoption, as outlined in the August 15th Update Report.  

    Council would like to hear from the residents on the proposed Bylaw and Background Report.  Please send your comments to DCCupdate@revelstoke.ca prior to Tuesday, August 28th, 2018.

  1. 2018 Municipal Election Information

    In B.C. General Local Elections are held every four years. In Revelstoke these include the election of a Mayor and six Councillors to City Council, and the election of five School Trustees to the Board of School District No. 19. By-elections occur if a council seat becomes vacant within the four year term. 



    The next scheduled General Voting Day in Revelstoke is October 20, 2018.
