Documents Required to Register on Voting Day

The City will not be using a Voters List for the 2018 Local General Election, ensure appropriate identification is brought with you on Voting Day as listed below.

Automated Voting Machines

In this election for the first time, the City will be using an automated vote counting system and procedure. Voters will vote by completing ovals in the space provided on the paper ballot opposite the name of any candidate and opposite either  ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for a referendum question.

Mail Ballot Voting Opportunity

The City of Revelstoke is offering mail ballot voting for the 2018 Local General Election.

Mail ballot voting is only available to those who have a physical disability, illness or injury that prevents them from voting at another voting opportunity, or persons who expect to be absent from the city on Advance and General Voting Days. Applications for mail ballots will be available in August.

Apply online below by September 21, 2018 for a mail-in ballot.
