Over the next three years, BC Hydro is replacing high pressure sodium (HPS) street lights in Revelstoke and communities across the province with energy-efficient LEDs in order to meet federal regulations. The LED lights use less energy, are more sustainable and reliable, and last longer than traditional HPS lights.
The project will begin on July 25th and is expected to take 2 to 2 1/2 weeks to complete.
*Updates on the project will be provided when details are received from BC Hydro.
