The Community Economic Development Department is responsible for:

1. Implement the annual Community Economic Development work plan 
2. Implement the Revelstoke Resort Development Strategy
3. Manage activities of the Revelstoke & Area Economic Development Commission
4. Supervising activities of the Social Development Committee
5. Promoting Revelstoke as a place to work and do business 
6. Promoting services to assist with business retention and expansion
